The Jack Petchey Award

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme is a reward and recognition initiative that enables Groups and Units to celebrate the achievements of their young people and leaders.

The Young Person’s Jack Petchey Achievement Award is an opportunity for fellow Scouters within the Unit or Group to celebrate the achievements and actions of those aged between 11-25.

Nominations for the award should come from the youth members and the Jack Petchey Foundation requests to know how the young people in Bexley were involved in the nomination process. Each award winner will receive a Jack Petchey certificate, boxed medallion and a cheque for £300 to be spent on something of their choice which will benefit the organisation; being presented at a Bexley District Jack Petchey celebration event.

The nominations form can be found below.

Secondly, is the Leader’s award. This award is in place to celebrate the achievements and dedication of leaders aged 21 and over in Scouting in Bexley. Each award winner will receive a Jack Petchey certificate, boxed medallion and an opportunity to apply for a £1000 grant to be spent on something of their choice that will benefit Scouting in Bexley.

Please see the guidance and nomination forms below.
